Mr. Tyab is an accomplished executive with over 25 years experience in raising project finance, equity and debt for mining and energy projects. Mr. Tyab has extensive international experience in developing assets in Asia, Africa and South America.
Mr. Ratcliffe is a CPA with over 14 years experience working with private and public companies. Mr. Ratcliffe has been the CFO of a Canadian energy company operating in the US as well as a Controller for an African based energy producer.
Dr. Halleran has a Ph.D. in Geology (Geochemistry) from the University of Calgary, Canada and has 40 years of international E&P and mining experience. Dr. Halleran as served as CEO, President, VP and director of many E&P and mining companies.
Mr. Burstall practices in the area of commercial law with an emphasis on securities law. Mr. Burstall’s practice includes all aspects of securities law from both the perspective of an issuer or an underwriter, including initial public offerings, secondary financing, mergers and acquisitions, all dealings with regulators including stock exchanges and securities commissions, and corporate governance.
Mr. Valls is a P. Geo, a QP, registered in the Province of Ontario with more than 37 years experience in the mining industry. Mr. Valls has extensive geological, geochemical, mining experience and managerial skills. Mr. Valls has been retained to update and prepare 43-101 reports for the companies projects.
Mr. Richmond has 30 years of mining experience in NIS countries in general and in particular Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and abroad in Mexico, Spain and Ghana. During that time he was the founder of the first public company from NIS countries on the Sydney Exchange. Mr. Richmond was a director of a jsc mining metallurgy consortium in Georgia uniting 27 mining , metallurgical, chemical and power generation operations with approximately 200,000 employees. Mr. Richmond has a Degree in chemical engineering and furthered his education with specialized mining courses at the University of Ottawa, Colorado School of Mines and Newmont Gold. Mr. Richmond was the first to implement heap leach technology to NIS countries that allowed the reprocessing of old tailings and stockpiles of Madnuli, Arart, Zarafsha and Karabash.
Mr. Richmond also served on the board and owners SPV for British mining equipment manufacturer Linatex – which was sold to Weir Minerals for 200 million USD. He has also been a Manager of British EPC company GBM minerals that has completed 500 projects in 80 countries. Mr. Richmond was the founder of Bolnisi Gold whose market capitalization increased from 15 million to close to 1 billion USD. In 2007 Bolsini Gold sold the Palmarejo silver mine in Mexico to Coeur Allenia (NYSE:CDE) a world leading silver producer. He also initiated the sale of Zarafshan tailings/stockpiles to Newmont mining and as a board member of Rumbo Copper Gold sold part of Rumbo 5.0 assets of Rio Tinto Mine to Emed – Atalaya Mining.
Mr. Curtis, Eng. AIMMM, is a seasoned mining professional with over 45 years’ experience spanning coal and base and precious metal in underground and surface mines across three continents. Has held positions from miner through to executive positions. Diverse career which has given a strong background in the technical, operational and financial aspects of mining operations in a number of countries. Pragmatic, profit motivated and a people motivator who works for all stakeholders including Joint Venture Partners, political representatives and local communities. Mr. Curtis has worked in Armenia since 2005 and has also worked on the tailings the project in Kyrgyzstan. Maintains the highest standards of governance, safety and environmental responsibility.
A professional geologist with broad geological, geochemical and management skills in exploration methods and mining experience. Mr. Rafikovich took part in various projects for Goldfields Armenian properties – regional exploration and local mapping, diamond drilling and RC drilling programs, geochemical sampling and interpretation of samples. Specialist in exploration methods for prospecting placer, magmatic, hydrothermal, porphyry deposits. Mr. Grigoryan has been responsible for the exploration department of Geghi Gold LLC’s Voskedzor lease in Armenia since 2014. Mr. Grigoryan is also the founder and President of the Geologists Union of Armenia.
Mr. Mikayelyan is a lawyer by profession with a master’s degree in international law. He is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, advocate. Specialized in the mining industry, from 2012-2019. worked at GeoPromining Gold as head of the legal department. Since 2020, he took position of Head of Legal Department of Vayk Gold Ltd and Goldfields Holding in charge of relationship and compliance with Government of Armenia.
